Residential Mesh Networking

Heterogeneous-Heterogeneous residential mesh networks utilizing 802.11s. AND the current state of residential mesh networks. It is known that 802.11s is the IEEE standard for mesh networking at layer 2. Most residential systems do not incorporate 802.11s, and opt for a manufacture specific or other competing standard that is proprietary. This literature review is to discover why, and what Gaps if any exist.
