the book review is due at the end of the unit, and you are required to complete reviews for all books. It will comprise a synthesis of the book, which will include the key points of the works and the overall lasting impression. This will be no less than 2-pages (single space). This does not mean you need to write a 2-page summary of the book. Rather you must synthesize the work. I have included key points that you should focus upon in your review.
The Basic Elements You Should Include in Your Review:
What are the main argument(s)/finding(s) made by the author(s) in the book?
Briefly and coherently, summarize the main findings/arguments/assumptions in the work.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of the argument(s) made by the author(s)?
Are there any overarching themes, which can be discerned across the work?
Where do we go from here? - (critical thinking)
