  Submit a substantial structural outline of your paper that includes a thesis statement, topical sentences, and examples of cited material from your resources. The outline should be approximately three pages plus your Resource List now converted into MLA style. The outline must include the following elements (not necessarily in this order): Introduction of Topic and Thesis Statement Cultural Examples Possible events, places, and/or people connected to your topic Possible artists, bands, and/or song connections (if pertinent) Two songs and their relation to the topic Briefly explain how your two songs relate to your topic Eight scholarly resources related to your cultural topic and chosen songs Include a short summary of each resource explaining how they connect to your topic. Separate Resource List (Works Cited (Links to an external site.) page) in MLA style (in addition to the 3-page outline). All web links must be accompanied by full citation information (author, title, publisher, etc.).
