Role of a Nurse Practitioner

Research the role of the Nurse Practitioner.

  1. Select and describe an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role. For example, Family Nurse Practitioner or Gerontological Nurse Practitioner
  2. Find one research articles and one expert opinion article about this role and summarize the articles. Examples of state innovations include Maryland’s hospital rate setting, Vermont’s single payer system, and Massachusetts’ health reforms
  3. Analyze the effects of the advanced practice nurse role in terms of healthcare and patient outcomes.
