Learning aims & objectives-
1. understand the factors that contribute to the incidence of abuse and harm to self and others.
2. understand current legislation, policy and professional involvement regarding abuse in health and social care contexts.
3. understand working practice and stratergies used to minimise abuse in health and social care context.

Task 1 – you should produce a report explaining the reason why particular individuals and vunerable groups are more at risk of harm and or abuse from others and to self.
– review risk factors which may lead to incidence of abuse and or harm to self and others.
-analyse the impact of social and cultural factors on different types of abuse and or harm to self and others.
-evaluate the short and long term effects of abuse and or harm to self and other you will need to ensure you.

in order to achieve the pass you must EXPLAIN why particular individuals and vulnerable groups are more at risk of harm and or abuse from other and to self, REVIEW risk factors which may lead to incidence of abuse and or harm to self and others and ANALYSE the impact of social and cultural factors on different types of abuse and or harm to self and others.

in order to achieve a merit you must:
present and communicate appropiate findings.
the appropiate structure and approach should be used.
and Coherent, logical development or principles/concepts for the intended audience.

in order to achieve a distinction you must: Demonstrate convergent/lateral and creative thinking.
