Scientific, and analytical review essay
Write a formal, scientific, and analytical review essay that (1) summarizes
the relevant scientific, historical, economic, and/or political issues related to the topic you
chose from the above list. Your essay should (2) include discussion of the conditions that
have lead (or will lead) to the ethical quandary above, (3) describe how future mitigation
or adaptation strategies might improve or worsen such inequities, and (4) propose
realistic solutions to improve the ethical imbalance.

articles, (2) federal/state/local government reports or international political bodies (World
Bank, WHO, FAO, IPCC, U.S. National Climate Assessment), (3) credible non-partisan
non-governmental organizations' (NGO) reports, (4) published books related to the topic,
(5) official government or scientific databases, (6) the New York Times, Washington
Post, LA Times, Christian Science Monitor, the New Yorker, the Atlantic, or the BBC
You should use at least 5 citations.
