a response paper for a crime fiction class (a sub genre of detective fiction). the topic needs to be about self destructive themes through out the book ‘devil in the blue dress’ by Walter Mosley. Please touch on how the characters went though their personal battles though out the book. And maybe touch on why do the characters seem to be slowly, almost methodically sabotaging them selves? is it because of an internal sense of justice that is being damaged by there deeds? or do they simply just WANT to be caught subconsciously? Maybe talk about how this is a common theme through out the book, and what Walter Mosley was trying to say with this as an underlying theme.
