Short stories analysis

Using one of the stories :

about how all of the elements we have discussed so far work together:

In about 400­500 words discuss how each individual element fits together in the story­
1. How would characterize the controlling theme or themes in this story? (Introduction
2. What specific aspects to the story (characters, setting, plot, narration) point to that theme?
Use Specific Evidence in a supporting paragraph for each element­ point to text,
quotes, actions etc.
3. What symbols do you see and how do they work with the theme? Again support with
Specific Evidence what symbols (objects, characters, actions)? What do they mean or
point to and how do you know?
