By now, you have read YouTube CEO says ‘sorry,’ but defends hosting videos with homophobic slurs, published by CNBC on June 10, 2019 and you will continue to conduct your own outside research on the ethical issues associated with choosing how to enforce YouTube’s hate speech policy, and whether or how the policy should be changed.
Put yourself in the shoes of YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki as you continue to analyze this issue and ultimately answer the question, “Should YouTube remove content from its platform when that content includes homophobic and/or racist abuse and harassment, and where should YouTube draw that line?”
