This week we continue our exploration of comparative/civilizational perspectives and the focus on South Asian political thought.
The readings assigned for this week must be the reference and from Chapters 8-10 of Dallmayr’s Comparative Political Theory. Topics covered include: the religious and political thought of Rammohun Roy; Mohandas Gandhi and the modern Indian political canon; and the political thought and legacy of Jawaharlal Nehru.
Discussion is scheduled for this week. Focus on the assigned readings and continue to describe and analyze South Asian political thought.
