There will be a total of twenty short-answer questions on the exam worth five points each for a total of 100 points. The twenty questions will be taken from the following list of thirty potential questions. You should consult your class notes, reading notes, reading assignments, and power point presentations to find the answers to these questions. For the questions where I ask for your opinion, there is no right or wrong answer. I will grade you on your understanding and knowledge of the issues as discussed in the reading assignments and in class and your ability to provide evidence presented in class and in the reading assignments to support your opinion. In other words, I am looking for well-reasoned answers, not “right” or “wrong” answers (for the opinion questions only…there ARE right or wrong answers for the fact based questions). Answer as specifically as possible in no more than 1-2 paragraphs for full credit.
