Techniques for a First Course in Statistics

Chapter 1 — Levels of Measurement: After reading the chapter and completing the practice exercises prepare a word document with your answers to the questions listed under Exercise for Chapter 1.
Chapter 2 — Entering and Saving a Set of Scores (Scale Variables): Read the chapter and practice entering and saving data.
Chapter 3 — Frequency Distribution: After reading the chapter and completing the practice exercises prepare a word document with your answers to the question “i” listed under Exercise for Chapter 3.
Chapter 4 — Histogram: After reading the chapter and completing the practice exercises prepare a word document with your answers to the question “q” listed under Exercise for Chapter 4.
This assignment reinforces student knowledge of descriptive statistics and measures of central tendency. Specifically, based on a data set, the appropriate statistic to report and how to report it both numerically and in a written report.This is for Chapter 6 and Chapter 7 exercises.
