Research that individual to identify how his or her life and/or career transcended sport. Perhaps your subject was a pioneer in race relations or gender equality. Maybe he or she was responsible for some kind of systematic change. Maybe they established a foundation or charity. We’re looking for an influence a sports figure had on society, not just sports.
