The Department of Homeland Security

Describe the Department of Homeland Security and examine the arguments for its existence. Consider the question of "liberty versus security." Is the feeling of security worth the risk of eroding our individual Constitutional rights and freedoms? Provide your opinion to the President on the current structure and whether the Department should continue or be abolished. If you feel it should be continued, what budgetary improvements or changes, if any, are needed to strengthen the existing Department? If you feel it should be abolished, why, and what specifically would you recommend in its place?
