The European Parliament Election of May 2019: Still Second Order or Economic factors
Analyzing the european parliament election from two theories of voting: Second-order Voting and economic voting.
The economic voting needs to be tested with macroeconomic variables and using an OLS model. I included what I have written in the thesis so far (7 pages) but it is not that good, and doesn’t have the sources correctly listed. It should be redone but can give you an idea of the paper.
