The future of the European Union is shaking

In the aftermath of Trump’s USA and Brexit, Europe’s future doesn’t look as strong as it used to be especially after the economic slowdown and the refugee crisis whereas the unwillingness of the main European powers to host refugees due to various factors including the nationalist wave across the globe. It looks like the future doesn’t seem so bright for the EU as Italy and a few other countries are questioning Brussels approach on immigration, economic, and fiscal governance. There are various current issues in Europe including the problems between Italy and France, Spain’s separatist movements and Catalan policies, the issues between the Balkan countries and their bureaucratic future relations a few to begin with. The main purpose of this paper will be to analyze all the current and upcoming issues that threaten the union and to try to make an accurate prediction over the next five years.
