• Thesis: The national primary to elect a presidential candidate is a rational idea because it eliminates the significant influence states like New Hampshire and Iowa have on the national primaries and allow an equal and quick voting opportunity for all states. Still, then again, the national primary has the potential to negate political deliberation by undermining presidential candidates' engagement with the electorates at the grass-root level.
