In the first two weeks of this course you learned about the role of health policy and how it is developed and implemented into clinical practice and used to inform and create initiatives to protect all Americans through evidence based practice.
The US Department of Health and Human Services provides the direction of eleven agencies that are committed to safe and efficient health care. The use of quality and value measures now quantify provider and health care organizations with the ability to assess and evaluate individualized practices and patient centered outcomes – based upon the evidence.
