The role of satire in Mowat’s narrative

Mowat often pokes fun at scientists (himself included) and at the scientific process. Write a three-page paper (double-spaced, 12 pt.) that briefly discusses the role of satire in Mowat’s narrative and how the satirical moments affect the overall persuasiveness of the book. (How do the moments when Mowat shows scientists in a negative light contribute to the book’s underlying message about our relationship to animals/nature?)
