  Evaluate a student's reading and writing progress in your field experience placement. Identify the stage of development the student is in for both areas. Share where you believe the student is on track and where he or she might need remediation. Please do not use children's names for confidentiality purposes. 2.Why is it imperative to promote literacy outside of the classroom?
