Theory to practice in Special Inclusive Education
Paper details:
Please read the post in which you are to response to, the follow these directions & the rubric and Response Analysis as it relates to
Responding by playing ‘devil’s advocate’ (arguing against their responses, whether you actually agree with the arguments your propose or not) with
questions or examples that challenge their theory analysis and scenarios-
In formulating my posts i may:
Based on the challenges, ideas and suggestions to my post offered by my colleagues, consider how i will defend or adapt my original analysis- Think about
how my colleagues’ responses have refined my analysis and understanding of the educational theory or its pragmatic application-
Align my response to the Response Analysis and Thought Process Grid (located in the added files), which will help me design higher-order-thinking
questions and responses to Shared Activities-
Please use note because i will need this in this session a lot:
This aspect has to do with the argumentative style of English Academic Writing Conventions- Academic Writing conventions differ around the world
depending on the different tradition- The English Academic Writing Convention is argument-driven- Thus, you take a position or view and then have to
defend that position- If you only state your views or experiences, it is deemed anecdotal and does not carry any weight in a scholariy debate, like the shared
activities- Hence, it is important that you substantiate your views or experiences with other sources- These sources that you use should then be property cited
and referenced to be credible, and other scholars could check if your understanding corresponds with the collective knowledge in the field of study. 80
