Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

Many literary critics have suggested that Okonkwo, the protagonist of Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, can be viewed as a "tragic hero." Do you think that Okonkwo fits the definition of a classical tragic hero (such as Oedipus in Sophocles' Oedipus the King)?
