What are some of the causes of youth crime? Discuss both in relation to factors as discussed in class (biological, social, psychological), as well as theoretical ideas (classical, positivist, strain etc). 2. What do you think about some of the theories of crime discussed in this session? Which most explains youth offending for you and why? 3. What are some methods of preventing youth crime, consistent with crime prevention theory?
