You are going to watch all three videos based on a gas station robbery scenario. For this assignment, you are required to review the entire scenario. You will review an interview with the victim (who is considered a "witness") â the man in the hospital â and write a summary of what he stated. The other two videos are provided for you only to put the entire scenario into context (and you are not required to summarize these). As the officer assigned to interview the victim, you would have been given an overview of the events by other investigators in order for you to conduct a thorough interview with the victim. These other two videos provide you with that overview.
Include relevant information from only the victim's statement in your summary. Recall, from the video about summarizing information, that you should include a topic sentence, supporting sentences, and a concluding sentence. This summary must NOT be written in your notebook; it should be written as a word processed file (in paragraph format).
You need to ensure that your summary is clear, concise, chronological, and correct. Use the date you are writing the summary as the date the incident took place. Be sure to edit it thoroughly and apply all the concepts you have shown mastery on in your grammar unit. As this is the final assignment for the module, your summary should clearly demonstrate your ability to apply the grammar concepts you have mastered to this point.
Write this summary in the following format:
⢠Around one to two paragraphs in length (of 5-6 sentences each, minimum); ultimately, you can decide how to organize the summary (just ensure it contains enough depth to cover the main concepts presented in the statement).
⢠Double-spaced, paragraph format (no extra spaces between - using APA standards)
⢠Third person throughout (you do NOT need to take on the role of an investigator from a fictitious police service; therefore, avoid using any first person pronouns throughout)
⢠12 pt font
⢠Includes a School of Justice Studies title page
