Based on your analysis of the vision and mission of the firm, what recommendations do you have? Things you can think about are: Do the vision and mission support what the firm is doing? To what should the firm change them or should the firm do something to align better with the mission and vision? Based on other analyses, should the firm pursue other lines of business or change how it competes in its lines of business? Should the firm change its vision and mission to match those recommendations?

What are the firm’s important resources and capabilities? What resources and capabilities does the firm lack? Do the resources and capabilities the firm has support the firm’s vision and mission? Do the resources and capabilities allow the firm to do well in its businesses? What new resources does the firm need? What new capabilities does the firm need? What resources can it give up? What capabilities are obsolete? How can the firm obtain new resources and capabilities – build, purchase, buy, etc.?
