Illustrating Criminal Justice Issues in Texas For this assignment, you will use the class material on the criminal justice system in Texas to create a visual representation of the problems in Texas’ criminal justice system. Because this assignment calls on you to think critically about criminal justice, you will develop skills associated with gathering information, identifying problems, and analyzing information. The visual representation can be a chart, artwork, mind-mapping tool, photo, or other visual representation—it is NOT a report that is put into a powerpoint presentation. You must submit your work as a doc, docx or pdf file. You may also submit it as a text entry file where you copy and paste your work into the textbox. The visual representation must be your own original work. Do not copy something from a website. This will count as plagiarism. Your assignment should reference a minimum of 5 criminal justice issues discussed in our class. The death penalty can be 1 of the 5 issues. Then, you will write a 4-page doublespaced explanation of your chart/artwork/visual in which you: a) Explain how your visual work represents each of the 5 issues. b) Explain realistic, common-sense suggestions would you make to deal with each problem.
