Vulnerability scanners.

  Identify 3 vulnerability scanners, explain how they work, what they do, and what they report out, and how these tools could and would be used and by whom in an organization. Please include any limitations with the tool (IP range scanning in the free version, only runs on a certain OS, etc.). For the purpose of this discussion, I will also allow the inclusion of penetration testing tools. In addition to the above research, I would like all of you to download Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MSBA) (last stable release was on 9 Jan 2015). Scan your computer with the tool and report back on a few interesting things it found. Linux/Mac users - you are welcome to identify and use a different tool of your choosing that serves a similar function to MSBA.
