What is piety

This week we examine in detail how Socrates' seemingly simple question "what is piety?" was not only radical
in its implications but also, form the point of view of the state authority of his day, very dangerous. I'd like you
to put Socrates' question in the context of today's America. What would that question be, and to whom would
you address it? What consequences might you face, and what do you think the right response to those
consequences ought to be?
