The EXCEL file with the Example Problem is available in the Black Board. The HW should be submitted either as a hard copy or through Backboard (Digital Box).

Note: The following correction in the initial data should be made according to your Student ID.

•    Change the initial work force from 80 to the last two digits of your ID. (For Examle if the Student ID is 200901234, then the work force should be 34 instead of 80 in the example)
•    Change the initial inventory from 1000 to the last three digits of your ID. (For Examle if the Student ID is 200901234, then the initial inventory should be 234 instead of 1000 in the example)

Scenarios

1.    Discuss the Aggregate Plan obtained based on the changes you made by using your student ID values as mentioned above.
2.    Change the inventory cost from $2 to $5 and obtain a new Aggregate Plan. Discuss the changes with respect to the first plan.
3.    Let’s say they brought new machinery and the time taken to produce a product now reduced to 3 Labor Hours/Unit from 4 Labor Hours/Unit. Obtain a new Aggregate Plan and discuss the changes with respect to the first plan.
4.    Let’s say the sub contractors revised their price and they are now charging $40/Unit instead of $30/Unit. Obtain a new Aggregate Plan and discuss the changes with respect to the first plan.
5.    Let’s say the pay scales were revised due to economic conditions in the country and the new regular time cost/hour was increased to $5 from $4 and the new overtime time cost/hour was increased to $7.5 from $6. Obtain a new Aggregate Plan and discuss the changes with respect to the first plan.
