2.Describe how functional communication skills at the locutionary level (minimal verbal but with intentional communication and at an emerging symbolic level) can be embedded in instruction in either an English Language Arts standard or Math standard (any grade you choose). Include the following in your description:
Grade level;
Identify Content Area and standard
Identify an example communication skill. Include the following:
Form (how the student communicates);
Function (why the student communicates); and
Condition (the context/situation in which the student communicates).
3.Discuss what the most important aspect of embedded related skill instruction is during the general education academic curriculum instruction for students with ID.
