Flexible working arrangement: Government incentive policy and HR roles
Order Description
a qualitative research method specifically case studies.
Info on my study:-
The study is motivated to make a pioneering analysis on the government incentive in implementing or enhancing FWAs and will be undertaken at a time of heightened
interest in the role of organisational human resource (HR) translation processes in the outcomes of government initiated FWAs in Malaysia. Through FWAs, the Malaysian
government aims to increase women participation in workforce and to promote employee’s worklife-balance (WLB) and increase employees’ productivity (10th Malaysia Plan,
2010; 11th Malaysia Plan, 2015). The study is expected contribute significant input to the Malaysian government and policy makers to further improve FWA policies in
Malaysia. Integrating the roles of organisational HR with government incentive is very essential to ensure the effectiveness of FWAs program and guaranteed the
reciprocal interest of government, organisations and employees. Thus, to ensure the successful of government FWAs incentive, one of the core policy objective must
provide strategic direction and context for the policy statements that are intended to guide organisational HR to effectively manage the FWAs
implementation/enhancement not solely for the business purpose but must be bounded to government’s desired FWAs outcomes. The following are the research questions (RQ)
of this study:-
RQ1: What are the practical processes through which the FWAs incentives policy is being implemented in Malaysia?
RQ2: How is the impact of FWAs incentive policy in Malaysia to be tested?
RQ3: How the organisational HR roles could support the intended goals of the FWAs incentive policy in Malaysia?
I need the following to be included in my research method:-

Additional info:
Government agency that manages FWAs incentive is Talentcorp Malaysia.
make a focus group by inviting the expert? but I am required to make case study(s)… This is quite confusing…
