Project and Risk Management
Order Description
Assignment has 3 parts. Each part has different requirements. I will upload a word file that explains every part.
In part 1 you will use MS project software to solve problems. There are 3 problems you need to solve in part A. Every problem has different requirements. For example
in first problem you will create a Gannt Chart.
Part 2 has 2 problems. In problem 1 you will create a Pert diagram and for problem 2 you will create a network diagram. You need to do something more for Part 2 but
you can check from word file that I will upload.
Part 3 will have a essay format. You will prepare a Project Initiate Document . There are 2 project options in part 3 and you will choose one and only do one of them.
The word file explains the requirements of Part 3. Part 3 need to be minimum 1200 words. In part 3 you will Prepare a clear mission statement. Prepare a Project
Definition (approximately 500 – 1000 words). This is the “who, why, and what” part of the project. It defines all major aspects of the project and forms the basis for
its planning and management and also the assessment of overall success. Produce a work breakdown structure (WBS). Aim at listing around 30-40 activities and illustrate
the breakdown with a tree diagram. The breakdown should have a clear logical basis, although technical details may vary. Create your own category names as required and
remember that there can never be only one right way for a project of this nature, as long as you justify your choice. Explain what basis you use to create the
categories and work packages (tasks beneath each category). You must make sure that the tasks are broken down into some reasonable detail. – Refer to web link ’39
examples of project risk at ‘https://simplicable.com/new/projectrisk-examples’, identify 10 major risks for the project, linking each risk to the overall project
objectives in Task 2. Prioritise them using a Probability Impact Risk Assessment matrix and develop comprehensive mitigation steps for each of the top five risks. All
Part 1, 2 and 3 results/discussion/screenshots must be included in one single word report. You will use the references in Part 3
