Produce an 800 word (maximum) management brief on topic shown below. The brief should
focus on Technology and Business benefits for an organisation and should be written for the
CEO of a company. Arguments and facts should be supported by evidences and references.
The brief should include:
? a clear title, author’s KU ID and date
? a short review of the current situation/background regarding the topic
? a critical evaluation of the technology and its impact on strategy in business rather
than explanation of technical terms
? a clear statement of findings /conclusion
? use of figures or tables to summarise points and aid readability, if applicable
? a set of maximum five relevant and appropriate references (produced to academic
journal standard using Harvard Referencing style)

Amazon.com, Inc., an international electronic commerce organisation based in Seattle, WA,
with subsidiaries throughout the world, including the UK. Named as the world largest online
business, Amazon ventured into ecommerce, cloud computing services and entertainment
(Amazon Prime) directions. You can consider technology driven changes in one of these
areas or discuss the prospect of technology driven innovation for Amazon as a whole. You
are expected to make strategic recommendations for the next 10 years based on your
research.
